Position Available:

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and driving the growth of the core existing fund portfolios;
  • Create pitching slides for fund positioning on a regular and consistent basis;
  • To provide training of funds and propositions to sales teams on a regular basis;
  • To assist in marketing and pitching to partners and distributors and be involved in sales activities where necessary;
  • Work with fund managers and the investment team on themes, ideas, strategies employed for respective funds;
  • Identify product and sales trends domestically and regionally;
  • Conducting peer analysis and review with the objective to identify factors for relative outperformance or underperformance;
  • Analyze and consolidate views of the investment team members across asset classes and sectors in order to provide and drive investment recommendations and support sales;
  • Generate new ideas together with Affin Hwang Asset Management (AHAM) Product & Capital Markets team upon identifying gaps within the existing portfolio of funds;
  • Conducting and assisting sales teams in product trainings, pitching and road shows;
  • Preparation of fund factsheets and periodic market updates and articles;
  • Providing support and answers to sales queries on product features and technical matters and
  • Maintaining liaison with third party fund data providers and
  • Creating Need Based Products and to drive other initiatives relevant to increase market share;


  • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • 8 or more years of experience in the wealth and asset management industry at an established financial institution;
  • Possess outstanding analytical and mathematical abilities;
  • Possess strong market knowledge and innovative in product development;
  • Possess good presentation skills;
  • Enjoy working collaboratively across the organization in a team environment;
  • Strong leadership skills in leading the product team;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various parties from internal and external and
  • Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from diverse cultures.
